Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: How are you different from a real estate agent?
A: Real estate agents list properties on the market in hopes of someone buying them. Agents can work independently or alongside property owners to get the best price. An agent takes the time to show potential buyers the different features and aspects of the property. They also take a percentage of the sale if they find a buyer. At Premier Property Buyer, we are not agents and we do not list houses, we are actual home buyers. Since we are the ones buying your home, our process takes a lot less time than it would with a real estate agent.
Q: Will you be listing my house or actually buying it?
A: We are not real estate agents and we do not list houses. Instead, we will buy your Utah house ourselves if it matches our buying criteria. From there, we will decide what to do with the property based on what our situation is and what we feel is best.
Q: How fast can you buy my home?
A: The amount of time it takes for us to buy your home is much quicker than it takes to list, wait, and close your home the conventional way. Our home buying process can take anywhere from a few days to two weeks depending on the situation.
Q: Are there any fees for selling my house?
A: No, there are no real estate agent fees or commissions that you have to pay when we buy your house.
Q: What if my house needs repairs, are you still interested?
A: Yes we are still interested. We buy homes “as is” so no matter what kind of condition it’s in, there is still a good chance we will buy it.
Q: Will you still buy my house even if it’s in foreclosure?
A: Yes we may still be interested in buying it as long as the foreclosure has not been finalized (the bank now owns it).
Q: Do you pay fair prices for homes?
A: Yes we do. At Premier Property Buyer, we buy homes at the fairest price possible so everyone can walk away happy.
Q: Can you still buy my house if there’s still bad tenants living there?
A: Bad tenants are not a problem for us, we have a lot of experience dealing with problematic tenants in homes we buy.
Q: What types of properties can you buy?
A: Our home buyers can purchase all types of homes, lots, and units.
Q: Can you buy my house even if people are living in it?
A: Yes we can buy houses that are being occupied. In some cases, we may keep the same tenants when we buy the house. If this is the case, we ask that you let the tenants know what your plan is so they aren’t surprised when we have people inspect the living space.
